The Opportunity
We are very excited to be setting up an office in Invercargill. We have existing clients down there and are ready to really invest in the region. We are looking for an experienced mechanical engineer to kick things off.
In this role, you will advise clients and directly support them on project execution, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met.
You will be working remotely on the client's site but will have regular on-line meetings with your Technical Lead to support you in your project and development at Caliber. You also have the expertise of our network of engineers to tap into at any time.
About You:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
- Experience in project engineering and mechanical design (preferably in heavy industry).
- Proficient in CAD (SolidWorks, Inventor) and skilled in FEA and calculations.
- Projects last on average 3-6 months at a time, so it’s important that you are comfortable with change and slotting into new environments.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
