The Role

As the Auckland Regional Manager, you will lead a high-performing team of mechanical engineers, driving the region to exceed its revenue, sales, and operational targets while building strong client relationships. With technically adept Team Leaders reporting to you, this role blends leadership, business development, and strategic planning. As part of our Senior Leadership Team, you’ll collaborate with regional managers and the CEO to influence the strategic direction of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership: Mentor and develop Team Leads, fostering a culture of engagement, high performance, and continuous improvement.

• Business Development: Drive revenue growth by identifying and closing new opportunities and nurturing client relationships.

• Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategies to achieve financial and operational targets, ensuring regional success.

• Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong client networks through industry events, client visits, and exceptional service delivery.

Ideal Candidates Will Have:

• A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Proven experience in B2B sales, engineering solutions, or business development.
• A track record of successful team leadership, coaching, and mentoring.
• Strong business acumen, with skills to manage profitability and boost sales growth.
• Excellent communication skills to build relationships, lead teams, and negotiate effectively.
• The ability to combine strategic vision with practical problem-solving.
• A passion for innovation and delivering exceptional client solutions.
