About Caliber
We are Caliber Design, an engineering consulting firm with a truly unique business model.
Our clients come to us when they need extra mechanical engineering resource to get their projects completed. Our engineers work as part of their team, on their site, under their guidance.
For our clients, this model gives them a unique level of flexibility and control to turn on/off the resource when they need it.
For our engineers, it offers an opportunity to work across multiple teams, companies, products, and industries and gain a lot of experience in a short period of time … while having the benefit of Caliber's operating procedures, technical and pastoral support, learning and development, and camaraderie! The onsite nature of our business model is important; however, work does tend to be flexible and hybrid arrangements are common.
We currently have over 60 engineers working across New Zealand; in Auckland, Waikato Nelson, Christchurch ...and soon to be Invercargill!
